Raina Lee
Designer
Raina Lee joined the Project 308 team as a full time designer after graduating from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, with her Bachelor of Architecture. During her thesis year, she focused on the public welfare gap present in the housing crisis and explored how architecture can empower local communities to create bottom-up, equitable housing solutions. Raina spent her 4th year at the WAAC, where she met Project 308 and joined as a summer intern before returning full time. This experience reinforced her passion for collaborative design and creative problem solving which she enjoys applying to technically-challenging projects such as secure workspaces.
As a D.C. native, Raina attributes her love for design to the city, having participated in the District Architecture Center’s Design in Action program and Barbara G. Laurie Scholarship prior to college. She aspires towards licensure in the DMV area and is a part of the D.C. Chapter of NOMA (Natl. Organization of Minority Architects).
Outside of the office, Raina finds passion in water coloring, 3D printing personal projects, cooking cultural food and hosting dinner parties for loved ones.
