Joseph Menkis
Designer
Joseph Menkis is a recent graduate from Virginia Tech's school of Architecture and Design. He has held two internships - one in Reston and one in Roanoke, VA - where he worked primarily in Hospitality and Senior Living. While interning, Joseph gained experience in construction documentation and coordination, as well as with building programming, schematic design, and owner/client coordination. Joseph enjoys working in a small office, getting to work closely with teammates on all facets of design and building. He is also passionate about pottery. Like architecture, pottery is an intersection of function, form, and beauty; there are heavy correlations between the making of pots and the making of architecture that help to inspire Joseph's design and process.
