
Crissy Stubbs, NCIDQ, Associate IIDA
Designer
Crissy Stubbs joined Project 308 Design in 2021, bringing more than 5 years of design experience in workplace, law firms and amenity spaces. She graduated from George Washington University with a Master of Fine Art in Interior Architecture and Design, receiving the IAD departmental Studio Award for design excellence and cohort leadership. Crissy is a member of the IIDA and sits on the GW IAD Advisory Board, working to connect the professional field of design to rising designers. She also volunteers her time as both a mentor and juror for the program. Two of her most recent projects have been recognized with industry awards for excellence in interior design.
Prior to design, Crissy was an elementary school teacher, gaining insights into the tremendous impact of space and experience on a user, which is a driving force behind her work. Crissy most enjoys practicing design work thoughtfully and intentionally to meet her client’s needs, realizing efforts to bring design integrity into every detail.
Crissy is a native of Colorado and has lived in numerous states from Hawaii to Rhode Island. She loves to travel, read, practice yoga and enjoys painting and pottery. She also keeps trying to grow a garden. She currently lives in Del Ray with her family and goofy Sheepadoodle.
